Bitcoin Signals Strong Gains Potential After Three Positive Weeks
Bitcoin (BTC) has recorded three consecutive positive weeks, a pattern that historically signals potential gains. Market commentator Krown noted this occurrence has happened 47 times since 2012, with Bitcoin trading higher 63% of the time two and four weeks after the signal. The probability of gains increases over time, reaching 75% after 26 weeks, with a median 13-week return of nearly 26%, which could push Bitcoin above $100,000 by year-end.
Using data since 2018, the expected return is more conservative at roughly 18%, still sufficient to exceed $100,000. Krown also highlighted that Bitcoin’s highest weekly close in 35 weeks adds another bullish signal. Historically, this has led to gains 65% to 75% of the time across longer periods, with median returns approaching 40% over 26 weeks.
Krown anticipates Bitcoin will make another push higher over the next three to six months, targeting at least $90,000 by mid-October, though he sees less statistical support for a move above $95,000 this month. In the short term, Bitcoin may correct, with support levels at $84,000 to $84,800, followed by $82,800. A deeper pullback toward $83,000 to $84,000 would still align with the broader bullish outlook.
Krown emphasized that while sentiment remains neutral, the data suggests Bitcoin has a higher probability of reaching $100,000 than not before the end of 2026. He sees the current signals as reinforcing each other, maintaining a bullish stance for the coming months.
