Bitcoin Slips Below $84,000 as Momentum Fades
Bitcoin's price has slipped to around $84,575, down 1.7% over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko. Despite this decline, the asset still holds a seven-day gain of 0.8%.
The recent push above $87,000 failed to hold, leaving Bitcoin close to a major Fibonacci level at $84,012. This level is almost directly alongside the price shown on the daily chart.
The daily relative strength index (RSI) stood at 60.69, below its moving average of 64.92. This indicates that the latest upward push has lost strength.
On the 4-hour chart, the middle Bollinger Band around $84,227 provides a nearby technical reference, while the upper band at $86,092 and the recent high at $87,220 stand between the current price and a potential recovery scenario.
