Bitcoin Soars Past $86,000 on $1 Billion Spot ETF Inflows
Bitcoin's price surged past $86,000 on Monday as spot ETF inflows reached nearly $1 billion. This influx of capital follows a sharp reversal in ETF flows after a weak period for digital-asset products.
The funds recorded their largest daily inflow since October 2025, with BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust leading the way with $381.4 million in net inflows. ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF and Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund followed closely behind, receiving $289.1 million and $238.8 million respectively.
The renewed demand also coincided with heavy short-position liquidations across crypto markets, with nearly $919 million in crypto short positions reportedly liquidated during the latest surge.
