Bitcoin Soars to 8-Month High as ETF Inflows Reach 11-Month Peak
Bitcoin's price closed at its highest level in eight months after a surge of money flowed into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, making it the best week for these funds since October 2025.
The price peaked at $87,397 on September 21, marking the highest level since January, and finished above $84,000 for the week.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs attracted a total of $2.39 billion last week, according to SoSoValue data, with an inflow of $999 million recorded on Monday, the largest single-day figure since October 2025.
Crypto analytics firm Santiment observed that Bitcoin has decoupled from traditional markets in recent weeks, rising 36% since August 18 while the S&P 500 gained just 0.8% and gold fell 1.5%.
