Bitcoin Soars to New Heights as Ethereum Evolves Beyond Blockchain
Bitcoin's price surged to a multi-month high of $87,270 on Monday before retreating below $84,000 due to rising US bond yields. Despite this pullback, analysts are optimistic about Bitcoin's prospects, citing strongly bullish chart patterns and increased ETF inflows.
The total assets in spot BTC ETFs reached over $134 million by Friday, with BlackRock's IBIT adding $97 million and Fidelity's FBTC adding $49 million. This marks a significant milestone for the cryptocurrency market, which has been gaining momentum in recent weeks.
Ethereum is also undergoing significant changes, as its co-founder Vitalik Buterin stated that the platform is evolving beyond just a blockchain into a 'much bigger' network with multiple layers. This transformation is expected to bring about new opportunities and use cases for Ethereum.
