Bitcoin Spot ETF Inflows Reach $3 Billion as Price Nears $85,000
Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have seen net inflows for nine consecutive trading sessions, mirroring a similar run in August. The current streak's cumulative net inflows total $3.08 billion, surpassing the previous record of about $3.04 billion.
The latest numbers come from Decryp, which reported that on Sept. 29, net inflows into bitcoin spot ETFs totaled $66.19 million. Daily net inflows had fallen to $66.19 million on Sept. 29 from $999 million on Sept. 21, but the net inflow trend remained intact.
Bitcoin's price has been gradually rising, trading around $84,400 intraday on Sept. 30, below September's high of $87,350. The shift in fund flows occurred after a U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed) rate hike on Sept. 16, which saw risk appetite shrink quickly and Bitcoin slide to around $75,000.
ETF inflows turned positive on Sept. 17, with buying growing as inflows rose to $999 million on Sept. 21. The cumulative weekly inflows for the week ending Sept. 25 reached $2.4 billion, the largest weekly inflow since October 2025.
