Bitcoin Spot ETFs Extend Consecutive Net Inflows Streak to Eight Days
Bitcoin spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have seen a remarkable streak of net inflows, reaching an eighth consecutive day on September 28. The total net inflow for this period was $31.07 million, with BlackRock's IBIT leading the charge at $54.84 million in single-day inflows.
This significant influx has pushed IBIT's historical total to a staggering $65.34 billion. Meanwhile, Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC) added $10.32 million, while GBTC experienced the largest outflow at $23.19 million, further exacerbating its cumulative net outflows of $27.87 billion.
The sector has seen substantial growth, with total net assets across Bitcoin spot ETFs now standing at $107.82 billion, accounting for 6.42% of Bitcoin's total market capitalization. This growth is attributed to sustained institutional demand, despite ongoing redemptions from legacy products like GBTC.
