Bitcoin Spot ETFs Surge as Zcash Hits 10-Year High
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a significant daily net inflow of USD 159.45 million, with BlackRock's IBIT leading the way at USD 183.66 million.
The surge in Bitcoin's spot ETFs comes as Zcash has reached a 10-year high, surpassing USD 1500 on September 18, 2026. This price jump is attributed to institutional demand, short liquidations, and anticipation surrounding its NU7 network upgrade.
Near Protocol (NEAR) also experienced a notable increase of nearly 28% in the past 24 hours, reaching around USD 3.47 on September 18. This surge is linked to the launch of confidential perpetual futures, which combines Hyperliquid execution and liquidity with NEAR's Confidential Intents infrastructure.
Solana has reduced its target slot time from 300 milliseconds to 250 milliseconds as part of its roadmap to achieve a final target of 200ms. This change aims to increase the network's processing capacity without raising the overall ceiling, allowing for more frequent updates on the state of the network.
