Bitcoin Spot ETFs Surge Past $52 Billion Inflows Amidst Buying Frenzy
Bitcoin spot ETFs have seen a significant turnaround in investor sentiment this week. After two months of net outflows totaling $381 million, buying pressure has picked up, with investors pouring money into these funds as Bitcoin's price hovers near $64,000.
The outflow streak that lasted for eight weeks has finally come to an end, and July marked the first positive month since April. BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) was a major contributor to this shift, pulling in $292 million in a single week, accounting for over 75% of the overall inflows.
Bitcoin's price remained relatively stable throughout July, trading between $58,000 and $65,000, ultimately closing the month up approximately 8%. This was the strongest monthly gain since April 2025, outperforming major equity indexes that declined during the same period.
The total net inflows into Bitcoin spot ETFs have now surpassed $52 billion as of early August 2026. It's worth noting that this milestone was reached in roughly 30 months since their launch in January 2024, despite multiple periods of significant outflows and price volatility along the way.
