Bitcoin Stabilizes Above $60,000 as Institutional Demand Increases

Bitcoin has started its second half of 2026 on stronger footing, thanks to ETF inflows, improving regulatory expectations, and increased institutional participation.

The cryptocurrency has managed to stabilize above the $60,000 support level despite broader market volatility, including hawkish Federal Reserve communication and geopolitical tensions.

One key source of support is institutional demand through U.S. spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which recorded inflows for four consecutive trading sessions, including approximately $132 million on Friday.

The growing presence of corporate holders, alongside ETF inflows, may influence Bitcoin's supply-demand dynamics, but concentrated ownership poses risks during market stress.
