Bitcoin Stabilizes Above $81K as NEAR Surges 23%
Bitcoin's price has stabilized above $81,000 as market recovery continues into Asian market hours. The leading cryptocurrency registered a modest increase of less than 1% across the 24-hour period.
This momentum is attributed to the SEC's regulatory approval for tokenized stock trading activities and the forced liquidation of short positions, according to BTSE Chief Operating Officer Jeff Mei.
In related news, NEAR Protocol has seen a significant price appreciation of approximately 23% to reach levels just above $4. This surge is driven by increased activity on its cross-chain service, NEAR Intents, which enables users to exchange assets across multiple blockchain networks without manual fund transfers.
The U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have also seen a rebound in investment flows, with a cumulative net inflow of $6.2 million for the week. This includes a substantial $433 million in inflows on Friday, led by Fidelity's Bitcoin ETF capturing $310.7 million and BlackRock's product attracting an additional $108.4 million.
