Bitcoin Stabilizes at $83K Amidst Geopolitical Tensions and Treasury Volatility
Bitcoin (BTC) has stabilized around $83,453 after experiencing some volatility in the past few days. Despite reaching a peak of $85,128 over the weekend, the cryptocurrency retreated below $83,000 on Monday but found its footing by Tuesday.
The recent surge in oil prices and Treasury bond yields had weighed on market sentiment, causing friction between Washington and Tehran regarding the Strait of Hormuz. However, as crude oil markets softened and Treasury bond selloff moderated, BTC regained stability.
According to The Kobeissi Letter, Bitcoin has experienced its strongest quarterly performance since 2024, with a 43.1% increase in Q3 2026. This growth is attributed to $2.4 billion in spot ETF inflows during the week concluding September 25.
