Bitcoin Stabilizes at $84,200 as ETF Flows Cool
Bitcoin's price has stabilized around $84,200 after experiencing a volatile stretch that pushed it above $87,000. The cryptocurrency remains up roughly 3.8% over the past week, but its immediate picture has shifted due to a significant reversal in U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs.
The funds posted $11.8 million in net outflows on September 25, ending a four-day streak that had drawn more than $2.2 billion between September 21 and September 24. This modest outflow arrives just as Bitcoin confronts a stubborn wall of resistance in the mid-$80,000s.
Despite this setback, technical analysts remain optimistic about Bitcoin's prospects. A sustained close above $87,300 would put $90,000 back into focus, according to Coinpaper's recent outlook. Meanwhile, the 90-day correlation between Bitcoin and gold has reached a six-year high, signaling that investors are increasingly treating both as hedges amid shifting macroeconomic conditions.
