Despite massive capital inflows into the Bitcoin market, the price remains stuck at the $65,000 resistance level. According to on-chain analytics firm Santiment, whale and shark wallets have accumulated over 20,000 additional Bitcoins since late August, valued at approximately $1.2 billion at current prices.

This influx of funds is largely driven by institutional demand, with U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) seeing net inflows of around $755 million this week alone. This marks the largest weekly net inflow since April, bringing the combined total to nearly 2 trillion won ($1.4 billion).

However, this buying pressure has not translated into price appreciation, with retail investor participation remaining low. Santiment noted that while large investors are buying, smaller investors continue to sell.

Nexo analyst Liya Kalchev emphasized the need for a strong daily close above $65,000 to signal sustained recovery, adding that most buyers entering the market are acting on a short-term basis.
