Bitcoin Stands Firm as Gold Prices Fall Amid Ongoing Geopolitical Tensions
Bitcoin's price is holding steady above $78,000, while gold prices have fallen to around $4,400. This comes as the cryptocurrency market remains positive, with sentiment indicated by the Fear & Greed Index at 62.
The index suggests that demand for Bitcoin spot Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) could absorb any overhead pressure and defend the $78,000 support level. The cumulative inflows into US-listed spot ETFs stand at $55 billion, with net assets under management at $98 billion.
Geopolitical tensions in the Middle East have risen after the United States and Iran exchanged military strikes over the weekend. However, this has not appeared to significantly impact Bitcoin's price stability.
