Bitcoin Storms Past $96K as Trump Effect Propels Crypto Towards Record High
Bitcoin has reached a new milestone, briefly correcting to $91,000 before surging back up to near its all-time high of $100,000. This resurgence follows a trend seen since Donald Trump's re-entry into the political landscape, which has significantly boosted Bitcoin's momentum.
In the past 24 hours, Bitcoin rose nearly 5%, reaching $96,100. Key crypto stocks mirrored this strength, with Coinbase and Robinhood experiencing gains of over 5% and 4% respectively, while MicroStrategy surged by 10%.
Despite declining broader markets, including the Nasdaq Composite, Dow Jones, and S&P 500, Bitcoin maintained its upward path. Analysts are optimistic about Bitcoin's prospects, with Alex Thorn from Galaxy Digital noting that the current bull market is robust, although he acknowledges potential risks, including regulatory changes.
