Bitcoin Stuck at $65K Ceiling as Institutional Demand Wavers
Bitcoin has been stuck in a tight range between $62,000 and $65,000 for much of August. Despite a brief move above $64,000 on Aug. 17, it's yet to sustain a breakout beyond this ceiling.
The market's demand dynamics are shifting, with U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs experiencing net outflows of about $385 million in the week through Aug. 14, reversing roughly $865 million of inflows the previous week.
This trend is concerning for bulls, as it raises questions about who will absorb the supply if Bitcoin reaches $65,000 again. Without renewed institutional buying or a surge in spot volume, the cryptocurrency may struggle to break above this level.
