Bitcoin Stuck Between Whale Short and ETF Inflows Ahead of Clarity Act Vote
The Bitcoin market is facing significant headwinds ahead of the Clarity Act vote. A whale has opened a massive $54 million short position, and institutional selling has reportedly accelerated.
This comes as investors are watching key price levels around $75,000 and $83,000. Breaking above $83,000 could confirm the bear-market bottom under this setup, while losing $75,000 could accelerate the downtrend.
The ETF inflows have been a mixed bag, with Bitcoin ETFs recording a 1D net inflow of 1,917 BTC on September 15. However, the 7D netflow remains negative at 4,372 BTC, equivalent to $336.16 million in outflows.
Ethereum ETFs, on the other hand, are showing stronger flows, with a 7D net inflow of $221.91 million.
