Bitcoin Stuck in Sideways Trading as Altcoins Experience Mixed Results
The cryptocurrency market continues to be characterized by Bitcoin's (BTC) sideways trading. The primary cryptocurrency has been stuck within a well-defined range between $83,000 and $85,000 for several days now. Despite some dips to as low as $82,400, the lower boundary of this range has managed to hold strong.
Bitcoin's market capitalization remains at around $1.680 trillion on CMC, while its dominance over altcoins is at 58.6%. The total crypto market cap has declined slightly and sits at $2.870 trillion on CMC.
In contrast to Bitcoin, some larger-cap altcoins are experiencing gains today. QNT has rocketed by 13% once again, currently trading at $290. PUMP has also seen a significant increase, pumping by 15% as well and now sitting close to $0.006.
