Bitcoin has been stuck in the $65,000 range for some time now, as investors' risk appetite for speculative assets weakens amid fears of tighter Federal Reserve policy, Middle East tensions, and delays to the Clarity Act.

The market is experiencing downward pressure from Strategy's large Bitcoin sale and reduced price targets. However, bullish predictions calling for Bitcoin to reach $1 million are clashing with bearish forecasts warning it could fall into the $40,000 range.

Bulls point to stronger buying by whales as evidence that the bear market may be nearing an end. Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, believes Bitcoin could rise above $1 million once the boom in artificial-intelligence investment cools.
