Bitcoin Super Trend Flips Bullish as US Treasury Boosts Buybacks

Bitcoin's weekly Super Trend indicator has flipped bullish for the first time in months, signaling a potential reversal of its recent downtrend. This change comes after Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent announced that the U.S. Treasury would double its long-end buybacks from September 9 through November 4.

The Super Trend indicator is built on volatility numbers coming from Average True Range (ATR) and has been used by Bitfinex analysts as a trend-following tool. According to Bitfinex, this indicator line remains below the price when buyers are in control, and above it when sellers are in control.

Bitfinex advises traders to use the Super Trend shift as a signal to open long positions and set stops. If the price closes below the line and the Super Trend flips bearish, it can be a signal to exit the long position.
