Bitcoin Supply Crunch: CZ Warns Millionaires May Soon Be Left Out

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) made a striking prediction about Bitcoin's future. By August 2026, he estimates that the amount of BTC mined will reach 20.07 million, leaving only 4.4% of the total supply of 21 million yet to be mined.

This limited supply, CZ argues, means that soon there won't be enough Bitcoin for all millionaires. With approximately 23.6 million millionaires in the US, and only 20.07 million BTC in circulation, he believes 'soon, millionaires won’t be able to own a full Bitcoin.'

CZ also highlighted that about 10-20% of existing Bitcoins are lost, inaccessible, or unrecoverable, which further reduces the usable coin supply.
