Bitcoin Surges 5% Amid Easing Oil Prices and Crypto Rule Advances
Bitcoin has seen a significant price surge of nearly 5% to around $81,015 in recent days, recovering from the mid-$77,000 range. The rally comes as oil prices ease, U.S. crypto rules move forward, and Bitcoin ETFs see strong inflows.
The easing of tensions in the Middle East has led to a decrease in crude oil prices, which had previously climbed close to $108. This has alleviated fears about future oil supplies, contributing to Bitcoin's price increase.
U.S. regulators have also played a role in the rally with the submission of new crypto rules for review by the White House. The SEC granted a five-year exemption for limited on-chain trading of tokenized stocks, allowing regulators to test blockchain-based trading while maintaining investor protections.
Institutional demand has also added fuel to Bitcoin's rally, with U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recording $591 million in net inflows over the past two days. The return of institutional buying pressure has contributed to a bullish W-shaped pattern on the daily price chart, pointing to a possible move toward $115,751.
