Bitcoin Surges Past $70,000 on Regulatory Optimism and Treasury Decline
Bitcoin has seen a significant increase in value over the past week, rising by 22.9% and pushing above $70,000 for the first time in two months.
The surge was fueled by a decline in U.S. Treasury conscripts and renewed optimism around regulatory developments in the United States.
Bitcoin's market capitalization has grown to over $1.43 trillion, with its daily trading volume increasing by more than 260% to $60.8 billion.
The broader cryptocurrency market has also seen a boost, with overall capitalization expanding by 10.23% to $2.42 trillion.
Ethereum, the second-largest market value cryptocurrency, has experienced an even stronger increase of 18.6%, reaching around $2,270.
