Bitcoin Surges Past $77,000 as Ether and XRP ETFs Post Outflows
US Ether exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have been experiencing net outflows for three consecutive days, with approximately $39 million leaving on Thursday. This follows withdrawals of about $224 million on Wednesday and $141 million on Tuesday. Meanwhile, XRP ETFs lost around $5 million after a small inflow the day before.
Bitcoin ETFs, however, took in roughly $159 million, while the single US Zcash fund added nearly $47 million, its strongest showing yet this month with over $230 million in total inflows. Over 30 days, ether funds remain more than $1.5 billion ahead and bitcoin is nearly $2.5 billion above.
The price of Bitcoin moved above $77,000 on Thursday, rising by over 1% to about $77,216. Other major cryptocurrencies also saw gains, with Zcash leading the pack at 10% higher to around $1,488. Solana gained 5% to nearly $105 and BNB rose by nearly 4% to about $750.
