Bitcoin Surges Past $77K Amid Improved Risk Sentiment

Bitcoin's price rebounded to around $77,400 on September 18, as it recovered from an intraday low of $76,000. This comes despite a $746 million outflow from US spot Bitcoin ETFs.

The cryptocurrency has gained approximately 0.6% over the past seven days and 20% over the past 30 days.

The rebound began after the Federal Reserve's September 16 meeting, where policymakers raised the benchmark rate by 25 basis points to 3.75% to 4.00%. The removal of uncertainty around the decision helped ease selling pressure.

Conditions outside of crypto have become less hostile to the recovery, with US stocks rebounding after Wednesday's selloff and oil prices easing as concerns over Middle East supply disruptions faded.
