The price of Bitcoin has surpassed $80,000 for the first time since its recovery began. The cryptocurrency's momentum is being fueled by growing risk-on sentiment after recent regulatory headwinds in the US were alleviated. In addition to the CLARITY Act failing to advance in the Senate and the Federal Reserve's 25-basis-point interest rate hike, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has filed its crypto asset rulemaking framework with the White House for review.

Gold is trading near $4,350, maintaining a neutral-to-bullish outlook. The metal remains relatively grounded by short and medium-term moving averages, raising the odds of a steady but gradual recovery.

The SEC has granted conditional exemptive relief to Tokenized Securities Venues (TSVs) to trade tokenized National Market System (NMS) stock by tapping liquidity pools. This move would see exchanges list tokenized equities for trading in the US within a regulated environment.
