Bitcoin Surges Past $80K as ETF Inflows Fuel Momentum

Bitcoin has broken through the $80,000 mark for the first time in nearly 15 weeks after a 25% surge over the past seven days. The cryptocurrency's market capitalization has reached $350 billion, surpassing last week's figure. This move has introduced BTC into the key resistance region of $80,000 to $82,000.

The daily close above $82,000 would confirm the breakout and indicate that buyers have the strength to keep up with the rapid rise. However, if the rally fails, the next support zone is between $76,000 and $78,000, which could be the first consolidation target.

Momentum indicators remain constructive, with the Know Sure Thing indicator well above the signal line. The Money Flow Index indicates meaningful buying pressure but is close to the overbought level of 80.

U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have registered strong net inflows over the past five sessions, with $1.9 billion in capital entering the market. Much of this capital went into BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust, while forced short-covering has driven the early acceleration of the price.
