Bitcoin Surges Past $85,000 Amid Broader Market Recovery
Bitcoin surged past $84,800 on Monday after experiencing a 7.7% increase to reach $87,354 in New York.
The rally comes as part of a broader market recovery, with investors rushing back into riskier assets amid falling oil prices and optimism ahead of the US-China summit.
Smaller digital assets also saw significant gains, with Dogecoin rising 14% and XRP increasing by around 8%.
The cryptocurrency's price has now recovered to late-January levels but remains roughly a third below its record high in October last year.
