Bitcoin Surges Past $85K on Weekend Bounce
Bitcoin's price continued its volatile dance over the weekend, reclaiming the $85,000 mark after a steep drop on Friday.
The jump followed the release of the US jobs report, which came in lower than expected. This news sparked a rapid move upward for Bitcoin, with prices briefly touching $87,000 before crashing back down to around $84,000.
However, bulls stepped in and helped stabilize the market, pushing prices back above $85,000 on Sunday morning.
Ethereum (ETH) also saw a slight increase, reaching just above $2,700 as it challenges the $2,700 resistance level. Other larger-cap altcoins were mostly in the green, with some notable exceptions.
