Bitcoin Surges to $63,815 Amid Easing US-Iran Tensions
Bitcoin's price surged to $63,815 in early trading on August 3, rising by 1.41% over the last 24 hours and 1.23% in a week.
The increase came as global markets assessed easing US-Iran tensions, which pushed crude oil lower and lifted equities.
Crypto analysts note that crypto markets are trading in a narrow range even as global equities move higher, with lower oil prices reducing short-term inflation pressure but stronger US manufacturing data strengthening the case for the Federal Reserve to keep policy tight for longer.
Bitcoin needs to break and hold above $64,000, $64,250 to improve momentum, according to Riya Sehgal of Delta Exchange. Immediate support is near $62,300.
