The cryptocurrency market has been experiencing a volatile week, with Bitcoin (BTC) reaching as high as $82,400 but facing strong resistance.

Last week, we saw early signs of an impending move. BTC repeatedly tried to break through the $81,000 level but was pushed back down to around $80,000. The correction was triggered by Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's hawkish comments, which sent Bitcoin plummeting to $77,000 on Saturday.

However, there was some respite over the weekend as BTC regained ground to reach $79,000, only to fall back down to $77,000 after tensions flared up between the US and Iran.

Over the next few days, the price oscillated between $76,400 and $79,000 before gaining significant momentum on Thursday. Bitcoin broke through the $79,000 resistance level and reached a new high of $82,400 on Friday, its highest point since May.
