Bitcoin Surges to $85,222 as ETFs Draw $998.95 Million
Bitcoin's price surged to its highest level in eight months on Monday, reaching $85,222 in early New York trading. The rally was fueled by a significant inflow of funds into U.S.-listed spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which drew a net $998.95 million on the same day.
The largest daily inflow since Bitcoin reached a record high on October 6, 2025, was led by BlackRock's IBIT with $381.37 million, followed closely by Ark's ARKB with $289.12 million and Fidelity's FBTC with $238.84 million.
According to SoSoValue data, this inflow marked the ninth-largest since ETFs began trading on January 11, 2024, and lifted the month-to-date tally to $1.31 billion after August's $3.52 billion inflow.
