Bitcoin Surges to New Highs on Strong Institutional Inflows
Bitcoin's recent rally has continued unabated, breaking through the $67,000 psychological resistance level and reaching a high of around $79,500. This strong bullish momentum was supported by significant institutional and ETF inflows, as well as improving macro sentiment.
The influx of approximately $2 billion in net ETF inflows and around $2.7 billion in short liquidations above the $70,000 level contributed to the price surge. However, after five consecutive gaining sessions, Bitcoin is now showing signs of resistance near the 80,000-82,000 zone.
Currently trading at $77,350, Bitcoin's price action indicates some profit booking and short-term consolidation at higher levels. The Daily Chart shows that the price is still above its Simple Moving Average (14 & 21 periods) levels of $68,222 & $67,089, indicating support for the price.
Market sentiment remains bullish as long as Bitcoin holds above the $74K support level. A sustained move above the 80K, 82K resistance zone could further strengthen the bullish outlook, while a break below $74K may increase the risk of a deeper correction.
