Bitcoin Surges Towards $64K as Inflation Cools and Treasury Yields Fall
Bitcoin's price has surged towards $64,000 as inflation cools and treasury yields fall. The cryptocurrency was trading near $64,246 on Tuesday, up 1.44% in the past 24 hours.
Avinash Shekhar, Co-Founder & CEO of Pi42, attributed the recovery to easing US monetary tightening expectations and softer economic indicators. He noted that cooling inflation and declining treasury yields are creating a supportive liquidity environment for digital assets.
However, experts caution that the rebound may not be sustainable yet. Riya Sehgal from Delta Exchange said that crypto markets recovered over the past 24 hours, but the move remains a rebound rather than a confirmed trend reversal. She emphasized that Bitcoin and Ethereum remain sensitive to rate expectations, Treasury yields, and risk sentiment.
The global crypto market capitalization has increased by 0.68% to $2.19 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap. The fear and greed index has slightly risen to 50, indicating neutral market sentiments.
