Bitcoin Sustains $80,000 as Institutional Demand Surges to Record Levels
Bitcoin has continued to hold its ground above $80,000, despite some volatility in recent days. The surge is largely attributed to a significant influx of institutional demand into US spot ETFs, with over $870 million pouring in on September 3 alone.
The total market capitalization of Bitcoin currently stands at approximately $1.62 trillion, while Ethereum's price has risen by nearly 5% in the last 24 hours to around $2,513. Other major tokens such as XRP and Hyperliquid have also seen gains, with XRP climbing 5.4% to $1.44.
However, it was Zcash that stole the show, surging by a whopping 16.7% within 24 hours to approximately $968. The total crypto market capitalization has reached around $2.71 trillion, with many investors now optimistic about the future of the market.
