Bitcoin Targets $90,000 as Rate Hike Bets Collapse
Bitcoin is poised for a strong week following a sharp decline in expectations for an October interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve. Analyst Nic Puckrin of Coin Bureau noted that the probability of an October rate hike has dropped below 20%, despite elevated bond yields. Bitcoin's price has surged, testing the $87,000 mark, with the next key target set at the psychologically significant $90,000 level.
Puckrin highlighted that if Bitcoin breaks out of its current holding pattern, the next resistance level to watch would be $92,000. As of the latest update, Bitcoin is trading 0.6% higher at $86,356. The decline in rate hike expectations has provided a favorable environment for Bitcoin's upward momentum.
