Bitcoin Targets $90K as Resistance Zone Beckons
Bitcoin is closing in on the $90,000 resistance zone after reclaiming $85,000. The cryptocurrency traded around $85,969 on Friday, with an intraday high of $86,794.
The recent move was helped by easing US Treasury yields and over $200 million of short liquidations over 24 hours.
Nicolai Sondergaard, Nansen's senior research analyst, identified $87,000 as the next key level after $85,000. If that barrier breaks, $90,000 becomes a psychological target.
Bitfinex's framework is more specific, with its analysts identifying Bitcoin's $87,722 yearly open as the major upside test.
