Bitcoin Tests Key Equilibrium Point at $76,000 Amid Corrective Phase

Bitcoin currently finds itself in a technical correction phase, having failed to sustain bullish momentum and reach the $82,000 area. The chart displays a series of lower highs and lower lows, forming a price structure that closely resembles either a descending triangle or falling wedge pattern. A key equilibrium point for Bitcoin lies at approximately $76,000, which is currently being defended by buyers as they aim to keep prices trading above it. This could be an important signal that the correction remains within a broader sideways range rather than developing into a more extensive downtrend. On the other hand, reclaiming around $77,700 and holding above this level would indicate improving momentum and potentially push Bitcoin beyond its current trading range towards the descending trendline shown on the chart. A breakout above $80,000, followed by a move beyond the previous high near $82,000, could invalidate part of the corrective structure and open up further upside towards $84,000 and then $86,000.
