Bitcoin Tests Resistance Zone Ahead of Potential Breakout
Bitcoin's recent trading range is being tested as it attempts to break out and move higher. According to one analyst, the setup still leaves room for a bigger bounce before any decline takes hold.
The overall trend remains bearish, but the short-term picture tells a more hopeful story. Bitcoin's support zone currently sits between $59,317 and $62,436, and as long as that zone holds, the case for a bigger bounce stays intact.
A breakout attempt is already in progress, with Bitcoin pushing against the upper edge of its recent trading channel. The next resistance zone sits between $66,200 and $66,300, marking the last major swing highs from June and July. If Bitcoin can clear that zone convincingly, the path opens toward $69,000 to $72,000, with $76,000 floated as a more ambitious target further out.
