Bitcoin Ticks Above $80K as AlphaPepe Offers 184% Listing Gap
Bitcoin (BTC) has been trading near $79,500 after briefly moving above $80,000 due to sustained demand from US spot Bitcoin ETFs. The inflows have helped BTC recover despite continued uncertainty in global markets.
The recent move places $90,000 back into the price-prediction discussion, although reaching that target would require approximately $200 billion in additional market value. Bitcoin's $1.6 trillion valuation limits the percentage impact of new capital, making it more challenging to achieve a wider percentage move.
AlphaPepe offers an earlier position at $0.02817 before its planned listing price of $0.08. This represents an increase of approximately 184% for investors who enter now. AlphaSwap, an AI-powered DEX being built by the project, aims to surface trending tokens and provide market context to users.
The fourth centralised exchange to list AlphaPepe will be revealed on August 31, with rumors suggesting it could be a Tier-1 exchange. Bitcoin needs to hold around $78,000 to establish support above $80,000 and potentially reach the $90,000 target.
