Bitcoin's price action has caught the attention of trader Michaël van de Poppe, who is building a position ahead of what he believes will be a key sweep to $75,500. This move would precede an upward reversal in the market. Currently, Bitcoin is trading at $76,063.13 within a bearish trend, where the EMA50 at $78,685.74 acts as a cap on upside momentum while the EMA200 at $74,102.47 provides longer-term support.

The Relative Strength Index (RSI) remains neutral at 31.07, and the MACD has printed a death cross at -459.25, indicating that momentum favors sellers. However, volatility bands show price testing lower support near $77,258.53. A dedicated technical confluence read reveals that Bitcoin is probing the lower Bollinger band while being compressed between the 50-EMA overhead at $78,685.74 and the 200-EMA floor.

This tight compression often precedes sharp bounces once weak hands are cleared through a liquidity sweep at $75,500. Over the past six months, BTC price prediction models have consistently highlighted these confluence zones as reversal triggers before continuation.
