Bitcoin (BTC) has been trading in a narrow range around $78,000, according to analysts. Technical analyst Doctor Profit noted that support remains strong at $71,000 and resistance is at $78,500, with $82,000 confirming a full bull market.

Crypto Rover flagged that Bitcoin's move higher over the weekend was driven by leverage rather than real buyers, warning that without spot buying to validate the move, the pump risks a sharp reversal. The last time this exact setup appeared, Bitcoin dropped from $81,000 to $77,000.

Widely-followed trader Smiley Capital pointed out that the market is showing a clear three-tier structure, with majors like Bitcoin and Ethereum (ETH) leading as core long-term positions, followed by revenue-generating protocols worth owning, and other altcoins and meme coins to be played but not held.

On the ETF side, ETH ETFs saw a strong weekly total of $824.42 million for the week ending Aug. 28, led by BlackRock's iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) with $83.79 million. However, Bitcoin ETFs recorded a $201.81 million outflow on Aug. 28.
