Bitcoin Tumbles to 10-Day Low Amid US-Iran Conflict
Bitcoin's price has dropped to its lowest level in 10 days after US-Iran tensions escalated, impacting the cryptocurrency market. The asset had been rejected at $79,000 on several occasions and finally broke below $76,500 for the first time since August 23.
The latest leg down was triggered by reports of new violent strikes between the US and Iran, which have been ongoing in the Middle East.
Despite a brief recovery attempt to $79,000, BTC's price has remained under pressure. As of now, it stands at around $77,000 with its market capitalization below $1.55 trillion and dominance over altcoins at 59.6% on CoinMarketCap.
