Bitcoin Tumbles Toward $80K as Market Correction Hits Altcoins
Bitcoin's price has slipped toward $80,000 after being rejected at $82,000, while other assets have bled value in a market correction.
The rejection occurred on Saturday evening due to escalating tensions in the Middle East, and Bitcoin's price has since dropped by nearly two grand.
Most larger-cap altcoins have followed suit, with ZEC and XMR leading the pack as they've slumped by around 8% each.
However, one notable exception is Avalanche (AVAX), which has defied the market correction with a daily gain of over 11% and now sits above $9.6.
