Bitcoin Volatility Hits Record Low as $144.6M ETF Outflow Fuels Uncertainty
Bitcoin volatility has hit a two-year low as a $144.6 million ETF outflow and weak trend signals raise concerns about a sharp price move. The Bollinger Band width narrowed to 3.8%, its lowest reading in two years, while the ADX trend-strength indicator stood at 11.
Analyst Axel Adler Jr. noted that the compressed volatility suggests a possible bottoming process, but another sell-off could be needed before Bitcoin forms a durable bottom. The adjusted Net Unrealized Profit/Loss for long-term holders had slipped below the market average and moved into negative territory, indicating rising holder stress.
The $65,000 to $67,000 supply zone remains a key area of resistance, and a move below $60,000 with further decline in long-term holder NUPL would strengthen the bearish case. On the other hand, a recovery toward zero would suggest that holder stress is easing.
