Bitcoin vs Gold: JPMorgan Sees Room for Price Supremacy
JPMorgan analysts have suggested that Bitcoin could potentially outperform gold if demand for Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) hedging eases.
The bank's note is based on the assumption that ETF investors are currently holding onto a significant portion of their assets in Bitcoin to hedge against potential losses, rather than investing directly in the cryptocurrency itself.
This has led JPMorgan to suggest that if demand for ETF hedging decreases, it could lead to increased investment in Bitcoin itself, potentially causing its price to rise relative to gold.
