Bitcoin Well Signs Referral Deal with AnchorWatch, Settles Debt in Shares

Bitcoin Well Inc. (TSXV:BTCW) has signed a referral agreement with AnchorWatch, a move that is expected to generate recurring fees for the company without requiring it to build custody infrastructure.

The deal will allow Bitcoin Well to earn fees from referrals made by AnchorWatch, which specializes in providing insurance products to its clients. However, there are some limitations to this arrangement, as insurance services are currently only available to US-based clients.

In a separate development, the company has settled $84,048 worth of debt by issuing 2,101,200 shares at $0.04 per share. This move reduces payables for Bitcoin Well but dilutes existing shareholders' ownership in the company.

The TSXV (Toronto Stock Exchange's Venture exchange) still needs to approve this deal before it can be finalized. Regulatory approval is pending, and there is a risk that the timing could slip. New shares will also be subject to a statutory hold period of 1 day, which may delay potential selling pressure.
