Bitcoin Whale Stirs After 16-Year Hibernation with $48M Transfer

An unknown Bitcoin whale has moved 600 BTC after more than 16 years of inactivity. The coins were mined in March 2010, and each address received a block reward of 50 BTC. Whale Alert analysts verified the origin of all 12 rewards and found no connection to Satoshi Nakamoto.

The transfer occurred when one of the addresses sent a small amount several blocks earlier than the others, which experts suggest might have been a test before sending the main amount.
