A major Bitcoin investor has made a significant move after four years of silence. The whale's transit wallet, which had accumulated $381 million worth of BTC, was completely emptied and transferred to a new address. This maneuver is notable not just for its value but also the context in which it occurred.

The same amount of coins arrived at this address exactly four years ago, valued at an estimated $187.38 million. The owner rode out a prolonged market downturn and ignored Bitcoin's 2025 all-time high, when the coins were worth more than $600 million.

The transaction history on Arkham Intelligence reveals that the emptied hub is directly linked to one of the oldest mining networks, which collectively controls around 33,000 BTC. The funds were split into tranches of exactly 4,500 coins per wallet, and the earliest transactions date back to 2010.
